RÉSUMÉ AND RECOMMENDATIONS
ACCREDITATION
Dixie Davis, Director of the Center, is a U.S. Accredited (Spanish to English) Translator and an Active Member of the American Association of Translators. In Mexico, she is authorized as an official translator by the State of Sinaloa District Attorney's Office and the Mazatlán Office of the Federal Immigration Department.
EXPERIENCE
Ms. Davis has 28 years experience as a Spanish<>English translator and interpreter principally in the fields of law, business administration, accounting, health care and tourism. She worked as a translator and copywriter for Holiday Advertising Agency in Mexico City from 1971 to 1973 and had a similar position at El Cid Mega Resort in Mazatlán in 1974 and 1975. Since that time, she has offered her services as translator to the Mexican business community and to international corporations doing business in Mexico, while serving as Director of the Language Center. She has been contracted by Mankato State University to teach a "Cultural Sensitization and Mexican Business Procedures" as a part of the University's annual Study Abroad Program.

THE LANGUAGE CENTER
The Center has twelve professional bilingual teachers whose past work experience includes the areas of engineering, biology, administration and tourism. These teachers assist in translating and interpreting as the Center has need for them.
